Design Week Eindhoven

Thursday I visited the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. A review in dutch:

De design acedemy, de "softe" opleiding design in eindhoven, toont projecten van hun afstudeerders. Van tevoren verwachte ik geweldig creatieve maar waardeloze ideeen. Niet alleen bleken de projecten soms bijzonder toegepast, maar ook werden de projecten op een sterke manier gecommuniceerd en gepromoot:
Fanatiek stonden de afstudeerders met de hun visitekaartjes in de hand hun idee toe te lichten, vaak voorzien van de mooiste prototypes en graphics. In tegenstelling tot de technische opleidingen van de universiteiten, waar de afstudeerders zelf niet eens aanwezig waren.

Gewoven motief bekleding met een photoshopperig sweepeffect....en je kunt er ook mee rennen...Modulaire deur met verwisselbare panelen...Uitvouwbare kas...Je Google's vakantiefoto's van anderen...
Kleding reeks voor criminele jongeren...Vacatures...Was elk kinderboek maar zo...Elke maaltijd weer een ontdekkingsreis of een zoete herinnering...

NEWS-FLASH

Today the most thrilling action occured right in front of my house. Reason enought for me to grab my camera and check it out:

A truck driver tried to pass a steep bridge in the center of Delft:

This was a bit optimistic. The bottom of the trailer buried itself gently in between the bricks.

After the truck having been stuck for one-and-a-half hour and paying the service and repair company the poor driver was fined by the fabulous police department of Delft, for driving in an enclosed area of the city.

Another experiment with panography. This time it's @ potsdammerplatz in berlin. Hard to imagine that it's a 180 degrees panorama, as is looks like any other wide-angle image.

Finally berlin
